an ancient city Ityl in the third century on
the right bank of the river. It was a capital of the Khasaren.Слайд 4 In old chronicle we can read the name
“Astrakhan” or “Adshitarkhan”. But in 14-th
century Timur’s troops destroyed the city, and it was restored in 15-th century again and became the capital of khanats.Слайд 5 In 1556 Ivan the
Terrible combined Astrakhan khanate and Russia. In two years
the city was built on the left bank of the Volga. So began the history of modern Astrakhan.Слайд 7 The Kremlin was built in Astrakhan in 16-th

beautiful city now. There are more than 500 thousand
