Задание 2 является

заданием базового уровня, в нем требуется осуществить запрос информации на основе предложенного опорного слова/словосочетания
Ошибки, которые допускают участники экзамена, можно разделить на три группы:
1) ошибки, в результате которых поставленные вопросы не отвечают по смыслу коммуникативной задаче,
2) грамматические ошибки,
3) фонетические и лексические ошибки, мешающие
пониманию высказывания.

в предыдущие годы:
сразу же в первом вопросе используют местоимение

«it» вместо названия предмета или объекта, о котором спрашивают, поэтому непонятно было, о чем идет речь. Это ведет к сбою в коммуникации, например надо задать вопрос о местоположении курсов, магазина, кинотеатра.
Вопрос участника «Where is it located?» в первом пункте принят не будет. Все еще встречается вопрос «Where is the location?», не имеющий смысла. К этой же группе можно отнести и вопросы (некоторые из них имеют и грамматические ошибки): «What is the price of the membership fee? Do I need a membership fee? How long are the opening hours? When does it open? How many open hours has the shop? Are languages available? When/what is duration?» и т.д.

вопросы к таким пунктам плана, как «transportation», «accommodation», хотя

данные пункты уже не один год имеются в различных вариантах КИМ.
Принимаются вопросы:
«What kind of transportation can we use to get there?
What transportation is available to get to …?
What (kind of) transportation is available at the seaside?
What kind of accommodation do you have/offer/provide there?
What kind of accommodation is available there?»
Сложность вызвал и пункт «how to get to the shop». Предложение «Can you tell me how to get to the shop?» не
принималось, так как это просьба, а не вопрос.

при постановке вопросов,
например: «How many people are in a

group? Is/Are there morning classes available? What would you suggest me to join? How I can get to the shop? Could you tell me where is your fast food restaurant located?»
Следует уделять особое внимание артиклям. При проверке данного задания эксперты не учитывают ошибки в артиклях. Однако они учитываются в случаях, если влияют на понимание высказывания (сравните: What are dental programs? / What are the dental programs? What is time? / What’s the time?).
Есть случаи неправильного произношения отдельных слов в вопросах, что приводит к искажению их смысла. Например: «How much will it cost (произносят coast) for me? What is the price (prize) for one lesson?»
