Stratford in England . He was educated at the

King's New School in Stratford. At the age of 18 Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway. In 1587 William went to work in London, leaving Anne and the children at home. Since then he devoted all his life to acting, writing plays and to the Globe Theatre. In 1613 he stopped writing and went to live in Stratford .
He died on 23 April 1616.

King Lear, Othello, Henry V, Macbeth, The Taming of the Shrew, Richard III, Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Much Ado about Nothing and many, many other plays and sonnets.

Hamlet, the prince of Denmark is a student. His

father died and his mother, Queen Gertrude, marries a new king. Hamlet hates his mother for marrying him. Listen to his philosophical thinking. It was written in 1604.

1601. It is about love between two young people.

They are above hatred between their families. They are ready to break this hateful tradition. Their wish to love and be loved is stronger.
