The education in New Zealand
The education in
New Zealand combines both English and American schemes with
some unique NZ features
There is a tradition of separated education for boys and girls. Some schools follow this principle of education.

Boris’s opinion of studying in NZ
I like
studying here. I’ve met a lot of friends, known
a lot of this unknown country for foreigners. The atmosphere in our school is very friendly, you can apply to somebody for help. It helps me to know more about customs and traditions of NZ. Studying is rather easy and very interesting for me( I am an excellent student, I am not good only at a physical education).

Kseniya’s opinion of living and studying in NZ
New
Zealand is the country of contrasts. It combines rain
forests and snow mountains with dry deserts. Moreover, this unique country unites people from all countries of the world. You can easily meet Asians, Europeans, Americans and Africans just in one place, for example at one university. I am studying at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) . One of the largest and famous universities in New Zealand. This is a multicultural and multinational place where you meet domestic students as well as international as I am and can easily communicate with them wondering and learning differences of our cultures. The main language is, of course, English, but you have the opportunity to learn any languages that you want, even Russian. There are less than 100 Russian students out of 25000 of all students of the AUT, so the chance to speak Russian is so little. It helps to learn English quicker and more efficient rather than learn it in Russian society. After graduation I will have two bachelor diplomas: my majors are Accounting and International Business. I am glad to study in so friendly and cultural place where each person may help you without any doubts

Courses of English language
As a rule studying for
foreign students in NZ starts with these courses.
There is
a wide choice of special language centres and departments of studying English at Polytechnics or Universities. Training is conducted in groups or individually.
They are :
Business English
English during holidays
Languages International - IELTS or TOEFL preparation course.
General English

Elena’s opinion of studying at Languages International -
IELTS preparation course.
The time I spent in this
school is the most unforgettable experience in the lifetime. The quality of teaching and atmosphere was beyond my expectation. While studying there I not only developed my understanding of the IELTS course and polishing my English skills but also made very good friends who we keep in touch till now with. In the school you can find a course for any need: from general English to teacher training short and long term courses. The name of the school reflects its policy and mission: its an international school indeed with a rich mixture of different nationalities.
Слайд 15
Elena’s opinion of studying at Capital Victoria University-
Wellington
That’s a place which gave me a very good
understanding of foreign language teaching, it was a start of my international career which is ongoing now. The experience and knowledge I got there can not be overestimated, that was the most beneficial investment I could imagine. Meeting all kinds of students from different countries made me believe that I was on a right way to my career development. The educational system develops you greatly and make you think independently. If you like challenges , self study and independent thinking- that’s a right place indeed for you.
Слайд 16
My opinion of studying in NZ
There are a lot of advantages
to visit New Zealand, the country of contrasts, that combines rain forests and snow mountains with dry deserts, to see the magnificence of New Zealand’ natural landscapes, to meet people from all countries of the world to study here and get a good education.
No doubt, there are disadvantages. You are very far from your nearest and dearest, you have not a chance to visit them any time you want, its rather expensive. The education and living here are too expensive.
In addition, I’d prefer to study in Russia, where everything is known and understandable for me. It’s known that our education is not worse, than foreign one, but it’s better in many aspects. They say, so many people so many opinions.
