Ivan F. Rubtsov was born in a small railway station “Uzlovaya” and had lived there for 18years. He finished school №1 receiving school-leaving certificate with excellent marks. His classmates were P. I. Tyurin (the future secretary of town committee). N. Tregubov (the future Hero of the Soviet Union). Since that time I. F. Rubtsov has remembered his school teachers and is proud of his native town.

from Uzlovaya took part in 397 air fights and

brought down 17 enemy’s planes.

lives in the town of Odintsovo, not far from

Moscow.

But he received the medal of a Hero «Golden Star» only 10 years ago!
After the war I. F. Rubtsov has become a famous person. He graduated from Air Forse Academy. He was one of them who had met Yu. A. Gagarin. He is the author of “a black box”, a special construction in a plane.

Fedorovich is a talented person. He is fond of music, literature, painting. He goes in for sport. By the way he is a president of tennis club in Odintsovo.
Rubtsov can write poems. Some of them are devoted to his native land – Uzlovaya. They were published in the local newspaper “Znamya”.
The author is proud of the native town.
