Объектом данного исследования является жизнь и творчество Дж.
Р. Р. Толкиена и его трилогия «Властелин колец».
Предметом данного
исследования являются образы героев мира fantazy в трилогии «Властелин колец».
Цель работы: побольше узнать об Дж. Р. Р. Толкиене, о влиянии его творчества на современную культуру.

Tolkien was born on the third of January
1892 in South Africa in the family of the
English bank manager.

His father Arthur Tolkien died when John was
4 and his mother Mable died when he was
14. So John and his brother Hilary were brought up by a priest.

Tolkien had a great talent in learning languages.
In
1900 Tolkien started going to King Edward's school. There
he learned the ancient English language and began studying Welsh and the ancient Norwegian language.

Then he studied in St. Philip's school and
in 1915 he graduated from Oxford University.

In 1925 Tolkien began teaching at Oxford. His
classes dealt with the roots of the English language.
He studied old fables, myths, and legends.

During this time Tolkien began writing fantasy stories.
Part of this writing included making up an entire
language called Elvish. The characters called elves in Tolkien's stories speak this language.

they lived happy

as a Lieutenant, but he fell ill and was
sent back home to England.

the language of animals. Rings of the elves embody the power of three elements - fire, air and water.

become slaves of the ring. After receiving the ring their souls blacken.

После проведения анкетирование, мы пришли к следующим выводам:
Обучающиеся
знакомы с этим произведением, многие смотрели экранизацию.
Вероятно, первоначально многие
только видели фильм, а затем стали читать произведение, так удобнее сравнивать сюжет и героев.
Успех экранизации произведения и мастерство Питера Джексона многих из школьников заставили взять в руки книгу.
Очень интересным для нас стало то, что любимым героем многие выбрали именно Фродо. Наверное, это связано с тем, что в Среднеземье разгорается битва Света и Тьмы, исход которой зависит от самых маленьких жителей - Хоббитов.
