Giant panda Most of the panda is an endangered
species with an ever-decreasing size of population and low
birthrate, both in the wild and in captivity. Scientists suggest that in the wild there are about 1600 species.

around 3,200 endangered tigers remaining in the wild.

Blue whale The average length of a blue whale
is 23-27 metres and its weight range is between
100 and 150 tons. it is now an endangered species, because of pollution, over-hunting, and other causes such as global warming.

Polar bear Researches estimate that there are between 22
000 and 40 000 polar bears in the world.
Close to half of the polar bear population lives in Canada. Man made pollution is a cause of death for polar bears. Polar bears can swim up to 100 miles (161 kilometres at a time). Polar Bears do not hibernate.
