name is Mark Twain). He was born on November 30, 1835 in Florida, Missouri. When future writer was four years old, his family moved to Hannibal – port town on the river Mississipi.

in order to help his family and soon he began to write articles and different sketches. Twain left this job when he was eighteen to became a printer in New York.

Civil War began in 1861 made Twain and his

brother Orion to search for safer place. They stayed in Virginia City, Nevada.Soon Mark Twain left for San Francisco, where he worked as a lecturer and journalist. He travelled to Middle East and Europe in 1867. In 1869 Twain wrote a collection of travel letters, it became known as ‘The Innocents Abroad’.
