It starts with Kindergarten and then goes typically from

first to sixth grade
It starts in late August and finishes in early June

USA are public (approximately 85% of children go to

public schools)
Also there are pay private schools (many of which are religious)
Also there are bilingual schools (most Americans study Spain)
Most schools don’t have classes in Summer, some are “Year Round” (they go to school during the summer, but get breaks during a year)
Less then 5% of parents decide to educate their children at home

Many students come to school on a yellow school

bus

and PE





There is a break around 9:30, called

recess, for about 15 minutes

IT and science
Often, an Elementary School training consists of

artistic projects, outings and other forms of entertainment

45 minutes




Children can bring their lunch from home
At

12:15 students return to class until 2:15 PM

go home or stay and do after-school activities (music,

art, dance, sport)
