was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He was the

national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide. He is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scots and English language.

Supper. This is a traditional dinner with the order of the dishes sung by the poet, brought in to the music of the Scottish bagpipe and reading lyrics of Burns (by the afternoon prayer “The Selkirk Grace” and “Ode to Haggis”).

At the end of the evening guests stand and take each other`s hands and sing "Have a good time“. It means the end of the holiday.
