village Prokhladnaya.He entered the Soviet Navy in 1925 and in 1928 graduated from the Higher Naval School by M.V. Frunze in Leningrad. After that he served in various Fleet assignments.

He entered the Soviet Navy in 1925 and in 1928 graduated from the Higher Naval School by M.V. Frunze in Leningrad. After that he served in various Fleet assignments.
