Main information Iditarod is annual dog-sledding race in Alaska.
There are many teams from all parts of world
which taking part in this competition. Each team consists of 16 dogs and 1 musher. They travel from Willow to Nome. Usually it take them from 8 to 15 days. In general they overcome more than 1800 km. Iditarod starts on 1st Saturday of March every year.
