Madame Tussauds
Madame Tussauds is a wax museum in

London with branches in a number of major cities. It was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud and was formerly known as Madame Tussaud's. Madame Tussauds is a major tourist attraction in London, displaying waxworks of historical and royal figures, film stars, sports stars and infamous murderers.

portraits of historically important and famous British people. It was the first portrait gallery in the world when it opened in 1856. The gallery moved in 1896 to its current site at St Martin's Place, off Trafalgar Square, and adjoining the National Gallery. It has been expanded twice since then.
