People’s activities depends on physical geography. So
in northern regions cattle-breeding is widespread. For example reindeer
breeding in Siberia and dog breeding in Alaska.

In the island states the main economic
sectors are fishing and seafaring. In the continental countries
the most important economic sector is extractive industry. There are many industrial countries: Russia, the USA , Saudi Arabia China, the United Kingdom, Germany, France and others..

Also food industry depends on geographical situation. In
countries with dewy climate people eat rice ( China
). In droughty zones people eat millet ( Kazakhstan). And there are many countries with rich, fertile countryside. For example Britain is very famous for its green and beautiful fields.

There are many regions with poor countryside, that’s
why people in these areas suffer from limited food.
But people live in such difficult conditions, because in our century the world has the greatest communication system.

the American and Russian eagle or Australian kangaroo.
